So, I’ve been eyeing this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chronoscope for a while now. You know, the one with that “classic style.” I finally pulled the trigger and got myself one. Let me tell you, it was a whole process. It is a nice watch, and it looks a lot like that famous one, and my goal is to have the look with the limited budget.

First off, finding one was a bit of a chore. I started by hitting up some online forums, trying to get the lay of the land. What are people saying about these things? Are they junk? Are they decent? Lots of mixed reviews, let me tell you. Some folks swear by them, others say they are garbage. Then I started to search the related content on Google.

After wading through all that, I started looking at where to actually buy one. I finally landed on a place that seemed legit. Placed the order, and then the waiting game began. It felt like forever, but eventually, that beautiful box showed up at my door.

Unboxing it was a real treat. This thing looks good. I mean, really good. It’s got all those little dials and that “tachymeter” thing for measuring speed. I don’t know if I’ll ever use it for that, but it sure looks cool. It is a copy, but it has all the look of the original with its design and function.

Putting it on my wrist, man, it felt good. Fits like a glove. I have 19cm wrists, and this watch feels right at home. The bracelet is solid. I checked it out really carefully, looking for any flaws, but honestly, I couldn’t find anything major. I did learn some about its movement which is not exactly same as the original one, but it works well.

I spent a good chunk of time just playing around with the chronograph function. Started it, stopped it, reset it. It’s pretty neat. I can see myself using this to time all sorts of things. Maybe even time how long it takes to make a cup of coffee or cook dinner, haha. It does look a little slimmer than the original one I saw in the shop window, but hey, who cares.

  • It tells the time: That’s the main thing, right?
  • It looks good: Seriously, this thing is a looker.
  • It’s got that “classic style”: It’s got that vintage vibe.
  • It’s got all the bells and whistles: Chronograph, tachymeter, the whole nine yards.

All in all, I’m pretty happy with this purchase. It’s a solid watch that looks like a million bucks but didn’t cost nearly that much. If you’re looking for a watch with that classic Speedmaster look and feel, but don’t want to break the bank, this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chronoscope is definitely worth checking out.

Was It Worth It?

For me, yeah. It scratches that itch. I always wanted a Speedmaster, but the real deal is just way out of my price range. This gets me that look and feel without having to sell a kidney. It is a nice watch after all. Now I am a guy with a nice watch.
