Okay, so here’s the deal. I’ve been on this wild ride trying to get an imitation Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Duomètre Sphérotourbillon to look like the real thing. It’s been quite the adventure, let me tell you.

The real Duomtre has this amazing dial, a total masterpiece, and I needed to figure out how to even get close. And the case size, I saw that the new Duometre Quantime Lunaire is in white gold, about 40.5mm. I found an imitation that was pretty close to that size. I kept asking around, trying to find out more without revealing too much, you know?
Then came the ordering part. I ordered this imitation piece, and let me just say, it was a bit of a gamble. When it arrived, I was like, “Okay, let’s see what we’re working with.” First impressions? Not bad, not bad at all, but definitely needed some work.

It’s a pretty decent imitation, if I do say so myself. And hey, for the price I paid for this original order, I really can’t complain. I think I will keep messing around with imitation watches, it’s such an interesting experience!
