Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing those fancy Jaeger-LeCoultre watches for a while, you know, the Master Control Chronograph ones. They look so slick, but man, they’re expensive! Then I thought, “Why not try to find a good imitation?” It’s not like I’m trying to fool anyone, I just want that cool look without, you know, emptying my bank account.

I ended up buying one. I know it’s not a real Jaeger-LeCoultre, but it looks pretty darn close. I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now, and I’ve gotten a few compliments on it. No one’s asked me if it’s real, but even if they did, I’d be honest about it. I’m not trying to pretend it’s something it’s not.
